Smaller fire incidents have also been reported in Malaysia, Türkiye, Serbia, Greece, Angola, the United States, and Canada, including areas near Antalya, northwest of Athens, Grand Canyon National Park, and Cape Breton.
A Prayer for Affected Communities
Heavenly Father, we praise You as our faithful refuge and our ever-present help. We lift Malaysia, Türkiye, Serbia, United States, Canada, Greece, Turkey, Angola, and Indonesia before You, and we especially remember those in Indonesia facing wildfire smoke haze across Borneo and Sumatra. We ask for protection for affected people and families, relief for breathing and health, wisdom for responders, and steady guidance for leaders. By the grace of Jesus Christ and the comfort of the Holy Spirit, bring healing, peace, and strength where our brothers and sisters are weary. Your word is a light to our path, and we trust our hope in Christ. In Jesus-Christ's name we pray. Amen!
