Typhoon Saudel has brought heavy rain and flooding to parts of southern China, including Guangdong and Fujian. Flooded streets, submerged vehicles, and a building collapse were reported, and authorities warned that more rain could cause further disruption.

A Prayer for Affected Communities

Heavenly Father, we praise You for Your faithful love and steady care over our lives. We lift up China, especially the coastal communities in Fujian, where torrential rain and flooding have brought flooded streets, submerged vehicles, and disruption. We ask You to guard affected people and families, strengthen responders and leaders, and grant wisdom as further rain may continue. Bring healing where there is injury, peace where there is fear, and patience in our waiting. Through Jesus Christ, remind us that You are our refuge, and by the Holy Spirit keep our hearts steadfast. We place our hope in Christ. In Jesus-Christ's name we pray. Amen!
